Man charges with burlgary and theft offences

A Gillingham man has been arrested and charged with a string of burglary and theft cases in Medway.

Darryl Davies, 28, of Watling Street appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on January 21.

He was arrested in connection with an attempted theft from a car at 3.45pm at the Gillingham Gurdwara on Byron Road.

Davies was also charged with two other thefts from motor vehicles reported at the same Gurdwara on December 29 and January 8.

Additionally, Davies was charged with burglary with intent to steal following a reported offence at New Brompton College on January 19.

Finally, he was charged with burglary with intent to steal following a reported offence at a garage on Gillingham Road on January 16.

Davies was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on January 27.
