Man arrested after cars damaged in Palmerston Road, Chatham

A number of cars were damaged following a crash on a residential road.

Several parked cars bore the brunt of a collision in Palmerston Road, Chatham, at about 7.50pm last night.

A man was arrested after a vehicle collided with the cars.

The 26-year-old was arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without consent, failing to stop at the scene of a collision, driving without insurance, driving without a licence, assault, driving whilst unfit and a public order offence.

He has been released under investigation.
