Man admits drink-driving

A father could be facing jail after admitting dangerous driving while five times the legal alcohol limit.
Gary Ralph, 42, of Rotary Gardens, Gillingham, ran over a child’s foot and hit a wall in his Lexus RX 400 car in Hempstead Road, Gillingham, on April 27 last year.
The father of two was granted conditional bail until sentence on March 4.
Judge Andrew Patience QC told him at Maidstone Crown Court: “I have to warn you that if a man drives with five times the alcohol limit in his breath, he is facing an almost inevitable prison sentence.”
