Man, 79, dies in M2 crash near Blue Bell Hill

A man has died after a crash on the M2.

The 79-year-old was killed in a two-car crash on the motorway yesterday and a woman was seriously injured.

Emergency services were called to the stretch between Junctions 3 and 4 near the Blue Bell Hill junction at 11.28am.

A blue Vauxhall Corsa and a white Kia Picanto had collided and a lorry was damaged by debris.

The woman remains in Medway Maritime Hospital.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, or saw either vehicle beforehand, or has dash cam footage.
