An elderly man has suffered multiple injuries after falling 10ft onto concrete in Cuxton.

Ambulance crews were called to the village around 1.15pm yesterday after receiving a report of an injured 70-year-old man.

The Kent Air Ambulance (pictured) was scrambled to the scene and transferred the patient to Kings College Hospital in London for treatment.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said the man suffered from head, legs and spinal injuries.
