Chatham heavyweight boxer Tom Dallas, who won his 10th straight professional fight last week in Dagenham, could soon be in topping the bill at a show in Medway.

Dallas (pictured) knocked out Lee Swaby inside the opening round in Essex and manager Mark Roe is now working hard at putting on a show at Lordswood Football Club.

Lordswood’s Martin Grove ground was passed fit by the British Boxing Board of Control last week but the only stumbling block is that Dallas’ promoter Frank Maloney wants the 25-year-old to fight at his own show in the north of England on June 25.

Roe is considering moving the provisional July 3 Lordswood date to July 10 to give Dallas more rest time should he be in action and will make a definite decision on the show next week.

Roe said: "We’re looking at maybe moving it a week but the only thing that would stop him is if he got a minor injury in his earlier fight."
