Head coach Kevin Parrish has assured Invicta Dynamos supporters that he is "trying everything possible" to bring in new players following the club’s recent spate of injuries and departures.

The combination of long-term injuries to Michael Timms (knee) and Anthony Lennon (shoulder), plus the loss of Zach Sullivan to Slough EPL Jets and Tim Smith to Sheffield Steeldogs has significantly depleted the Dynamos squad.

Parrish (pictured) said: "It’s been a tough few weeks but we are doing all we can to steady the ship and come out fighting.

"We have been short-benched in recent weeks but I am trying everything possible to get in a few new guys and will hopefully be in a position to provide some news in the near future."

Parrish also responded to rumours that two other players, Robbie Brown and Richard Bentham, were considering leaving.

Brown has scored 15 points in eight games and Bentham scored four times in Dynamos’ 8-3 league win in Bristol on Sunday and Parrish said: "The rumours over the futures of Robbie and Richard are exactly that – rumours.

"I am happy with the performances of both players and, given their abilities, it is not surprising to see them linked with other clubs."

Another positive piece of news from Parrish was that he has solved his netminder problem by signing two back-ups for Andy Moffat.

Parrish has secured the services of Lee Freeman from the Medway Madness and also persuaded Joe White to re-sign for the club.

The Dynamos have a double header this week. Tomorrow (Saturday) they host Slough ENL Jets in Gillingham (5.15pm) in the league before travelling to Essex on Sunday to take on Romford Raiders in a ENIHL Southern Cup tie.
