Invicta Dynamos finished their regular season with back-to-back wins to take some momentum into the ENIHL Division 1 South play-offs.

Mos overcame Bristol Pitbulls 4-2 at the Silver Blades on Sunday after Nicky Lewis (2), Andy Smith, Justin Noble, Adam Copland, Jack Tarczycki and Ryan Ellis scored in the previous night’s 7-3 win over Bracknell Hornets.

However, there was no fairytale goal for Michael Timms, in his last appearance for Mos before emigrating to the USA with his fiancee, after Ellis scored twice and Callum Best and Andy Smith claimed the others against Bristol.

Timms (pictured) made 36 appearances and recorded 37 points for Invicta after joining in 2010-11 following stints with Guildford, Slough, Chelmsford and Romford.

A knee injury kept him out for most of this campaign, although he scored three times in 11 appearances.

Timms said: "After being approved for a visa at the start of the month it has began to sink in that I will be moving on.

"I’m a bit disappointed to be leaving the club without collecting a winners’ medal, but I wish everyone all the best in the play-offs and I will be keeping an eye on things from the other side of the Atlantic."

The win in Berkshire secured fourth place in the table and home advantage in the second leg of the play-off quarter-final against Cardiff Devils.

Mos will travel to Cardiff for the first play-off game on Saturday, April 7 (7pm), before hosting the Devils the following day (5.15pm).

The winners are likely to face Chelmsford or Romford.
