Invicta Dynamos’ upturn in form continued at the weekend with a four-point haul.

On Saturday they thrashed Bracknell Hornets 11-0 in the Southern Cup and on Sunday they beat the Wightlink Raiders 3-2 in a league encounter.

The Southern Cup victory leaves them top of the group table, with three wins from three and an impressive 28 goals to their name.

Peter Vaisanen, pictured, opened the scoring at Bracknell and Invicta led 2-0 at the end of the first. Four more followed in the second and another five in the last as the visitors finished in rampant style.

Dynamos also continued their NIHL South Division 1 resurgence. The win over the high-flying Raiders leaves them seven points off top spot, with three games in hand.

Vaisanen again got the Mos off the mark and the lead was doubled through Justin Noble.

That lead disappeared when Wightlink struck twice, but Vaisanen hit the winning goal for the Mos as they made it five wins on the spin.
