Invicta Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish believes his side’s impressive home form will prove decisive in the closing stages of the ENIHL South Division 1 title chase.

Dynamos suffered their fourth defeat of the season 6-3 at Cardiff Devils last weekend, which means Invicta still need four points from their last five games to retain the title.

Only two of those matches are at home, against third-placed Bracknell Hornets on Sunday (5.15pm), and then second-placed Cardiff on March 14. But, with his side having won 14 of their 15 home games, and drawn the other, Parrish is confident Invicta will be able to secure the points they need at the Gillingham Ice Bowl regardless of how they perform in their remaining away games.

Parrish said: "We have been virtually invincible at home this season and I don’t see why that should change with only a few games to go.

"Yes, Bracknell are a decent side and they are on a good run. If we were playing them at their place I might have a few worries, but we are at home and that makes a big difference."

Mark Williams will miss at least the next two matches and with Ryan Giles ruled out for the rest of the season, Parrish is down to four recognised defenceman for this Sunday’s game.
