Burglars steal hundreds from Jacob's Barbers, Strood

The owner of a barber shop is desperate to find the criminals who stole almost £1,000 from his business.

Burglars smashed the window of Jacob's Barbers, in Strood High Street, last weekend and entered the property in the early hours.

Business owner, Sirwah Rashedi, said: "Luckily the window is made from safety glass, so although it is smashed it is not broken.

"However, the burglars did manage to enter the shop with a key of some sort.

"I don't know what type of key it was but you can see the burglars using something like it on the CCTV."

Sirwah explained how the dark lighting made it hard to see exactly who the burglars were.

However, nearby shops and businesses have offered their own CCTV to help with police investigations.
