Former Love Island star Danny Bibby under fire after video of performance at under-18s party in Rochester goes viral

A former Love Island star has come under fire after footage of him performing on stage at an under-18s party in Kent went viral.

The video of Danny Bibby was shared on TikTok and appears to show him performing at Wow Under 18s in Halling, Rochester.

The reality TV star can be seen dancing on a stage to rap music, with a microphone in his hand, as youngsters follow his lead and sing along on the dance floor.

However, the person who shared the footage online did not approve of Danny's performance, saying: "Right then who's booked Danny for their 10-year-old kid's birthday party because this is wildly inappropriate."

Other social media users agreed. One added: "Whoever allowed this is heavily irresponsible and didn’t think the whole situation through."

Wow Under 18s promoted the event on its Facebook page on Saturday.

It said: "After 18 months of being away! We are back! With only one day to go, we are beyond buzzing to meet Danny Bibby."

It shared details of the event, in Halling High Street, including that doors would open at 5.30pm and close at 8pm.

"Every ticket gets to meet Danny and get a free drink on entry," it added.

Wow Under 18s has been approached for comment.

Danny was a controversial contestant in this year's show after old Instagram posts surfaced of him using a racial slur.

The revelation sparked 1,500 Ofcom complaints from viewers after he entered the villa on July 15.

When he left he posted on his Instagram account saying he was 'truly sorry' and added: "Education is key to solving problems, and I have learned a very valuable lesson. I hope others will too. I whole heartedly apologise to anyone who I have offended and ask your forgiveness."
