Traffic built up around Chattenden this afternoon after a car overturned near the Four Elms Hill roundabout.

The vehicle flipped as it was coming down the hill in the Strood direction at about 11.50am.

The woman driving the car is not thought to have been seriously injured.

Police closed the road in the Strood direction while the emergency services dealt with the incident.

It is thought the car ended up on the carriageway on its roof. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

A Kent Police spokesman said motorists should expect delays and try to find alterative routes.
