Five charged after Spencer Dodgson attack

Five men have been charged with various offences connected to a mass brawl which left a Strood man fighting for his life.

The five, who are all from the London area, have been charged in relation to an incident which left 27-year-old Spencer Dodgson with serious head injuries.

Spencer, of Scholars Rise, was injured after the incident outside the Casino Rooms nightclub, Rochester, in the early hours of Sunday, March 14.

Spencer suffered severe bruising to his brain during the incident in the Blue Boar Lane car park at 3.10am, but is now continuing to make a steady recovery.

The men to be charged are:

  • Wayne Brooks, 27, of Meadow Road, South Lambeth, charged with GBH
  • Dean Marney, 29 of Coney Way, South Lambeth charged with GBH
  • Kallum Fevrier, 19, of Bramah Green, Brixton charged with public order offences.
  • Donell Hall, 20, of Meadow Road, Kennington charged with public order offences.
  • Ozay Rowley, 25, of Ebbisham Drive, South Lambeth, charged with public order offences.

All have all been released on bail and are due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, September 15.

Nine people were originally arrested in connection with the incident, one of the four received a caution, two others were released without charge and one other is still on bail pending further enquiries.
