A man was punched after pharmacy staff approached two people acting suspiciously.

Kent Police is investigating the assault which took place at Lloyds Pharmacy, Rainham, at around 4.40pm yesterday (Friday).

Staff at the chemist challenged a man and a woman acting suspiciously in the store in Station Road, before a 30-year-old male member of staff was punched by the man.

A spokesman for Kent Police said no arrests have been made and its investigations to locate the offender are ongoing.
