Invicta Dynamos have completed their second overseas signing in little over a week with the acquisition of Swedish forward Johan Stenvall.

The 22-year-old will occupy the second of two non-British trained spots on the Dynamos roster following their earlier signing of Canadian Peter Versainen.

Dynamos coach Kevin Parrish said: "Johan joins us after playing at various levels back home in Sweden and having had a season-long spell in the Norwegian second division, which is a very high standard. Now though he is excited to have the opportunity to ice in England and we anticipate he will play a key role for us."

There was further good news for Parrish this week with defenceman Tim Smith (pictured) becoming the first player from last season’s squad to commit to the Dynamos for a further year.

Parrish added: "This will be a big season for Tim to prove himself, especially with defensive duo Adam Copland and Ryan Giles having left to join Romford Raiders in the EPL.

"Tim has very good hands and excellent vision on the powerplay and if he works on his fitness and foot speed he could make it at a higher level."
