A road was closed after a suspected drink driver crashed into four parked cars.

Officers were called to Borstal Street, Rochester at 1.30pm following reports of an overturned vehicle.

Police were joined by fire crews and the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

One man was taken to hospital and also arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.

He was later released pending further enquiries.

Four parked vehicles are reported to have been damaged and a road closure was enforced to allow debris to be cleared.

The closure was lifted just before 3pm.
