Trains between Gillingham and Rainham are suspended after torrential rain causes flooding on the lines.

Trains have had to be suspended between two Medway stations after torrential rain caused part of the line to flood.

The service between Gillingham and Rainham is not running because the Gillingham level crossing is under water.

A spokesman for Southeastern said: "We are working to get service back on as soon as possible, but are unable to say at this stage when services will resume."
