Burglaries in Fairview Avenue, Wigmore, and Hempstead Road, Hempstead

Computers, a mobile phone and personal documents have been stolen after two burglaries in Wigmore and Hempstead.

It is reported that between 12.30am and 5am this morning burglars took computers, a handbag and personal documents from a property in Fairview Avenue, Wigmore.

It is also reported that at around 1.20am two men entered a house in Hempstead Road and stole a mobile phone.

A witness then saw two men running down an alleyway towards Lamplighters Close.

It is reported that the suspects may have also been trying to get into insecure vehicles.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who believes they have information on the incidents. They would also like to hear from anyone in the area who may have CCTV cameras.
