Chatham boss Paul Foley has failed to agree terms with two possible targets.

He said: "We are suffering with injuries at the moment to some key players and having six or seven missing is a serious problem.

"There is no point bleating about it and our hands are tied on the budget, so we just have to get on with it.

"I spoke to two players last week about coming to the club but we were miles apart on money expected.

"This is a fact of life for a club such as ours but it makes the task in hand all the more difficult."

Keeper James Tedder dislocated his thumb at Worthing, Brad Potter suffered a groin strain in the same game, while Craig Wilkins damaged his Achilles tendon against Horsham.

Ube Ibemere and player-coach Kevin Watson (hamstrings) were due to train last night (Thursday) while Francis Tshikaya should be available for the Ryman League, Division 1 South trip to Burgess Hill on Saturday.
