Chatham man Nathan Slade in court for attempted murder

A man accused of attempted murder after a stabbing in Chatham appeared at Maidstone Crown Court yesterday (Monday).

Nathan Slade, 21, of Luton Road, Chatham, is alleged to have attacked Graham Winder in Bryant Street on August 4.

Mr Winder, 26, was taken to Kings College Hospital in London and treated for serious injuries.

Slade, who appeared at court by TV link with Elmley Prison, Sheppey, will enter a plea to the charge on November 2. A provisional trial date was set for January 21 next year.
