Three men are being hunted by police after a number of high-value mobile phones were stolen from shops in Chatham.

Officers from Medway police have released CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with the thefts from shops in the town centre.

The phones have been stolen from various mobile phone shops over the past three months.

Sgt Craig West said: "These men may be able to assist us with our enquiries and we ask that they come forward and speak to officers."

The men are said to go into shops well dressed, wearing smart casual clothing.

All are aged between 20 and 30 and are of European appearance.

They are all also thought to be about 6ft and one is of stocky build, one of slim build and one described as being proportionate.

The slim man also has a neatly trimmed beard and sideburns.

Sgt West added: "Until we are able to trace the offenders, we are also asking shop staff and the rest of the community to remain vigilant.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious should contact police."
