Two teenagers bailed after assault in McDonald's car park in Commercial Road, Strood

A group of teenagers are suspected to have used a brick and a motorcycle helmet in an attack at a McDonald's car park.

The incident between the boys and three men in their 20s in Strood also saw one victim require hospital treatment for a leg injury.

One of the youngsters is reported to have thrown a brick at one of the victims and another is said to have used a motorcycle helmet to assault another.

Each of the men sustained facial injuries during the assault in Commercial Road on Saturday, April 16 at 10.30pm.

Two boys, aged 14 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and have been released on bail, as inquiries continue, until Saturday, May 14.

Investigating officers have reviewed CCTV and spoken with several witnesses. It is believed there are a number of other people who could have important information but are yet to speak with an officer.
