The Fire Station Brasserie in Chatham to close permanently next month

It has been announced a restaurant and bar will be permanently closing at the start of next month.

The Fire Station Brasserie in New Cut, Chatham will be shutting on July 2.

The venue announced the news on social media, saying: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your ongoing support over the past few years – it has really meant so much to us.

“We wish Medway all the very best.”

The bar only re-opened in January, after temporarily closing at the end of last year due to staff shortages.

The popular eatery operated from 5pm on Fridays and on Saturdays at lunchtime and the evening.

It also featured live music performed by local artists.
