Teenage boy charged with attempted murder after stabbing near Medway Park in Mill Road, Gillingham

Two people have been charged after a teenage boy was stabbed and robbed.

Armed officers and an air ambulance were called to Mill Road, Gillingham, on Monday, May 15 after a teenage boy sustained an injury consistent with a stab wound.

The victim was taken to a London hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.

The next day, the Crown Prosecution Service charged a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named due to his age, with attempted murder and robbery.

Abraham Ojo, 18, of Thorold Road, Chatham, has also been charged with robbery.

Both were remanded in custody and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court today where they were remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on June 16.
