It is reported that the victim was approached by the offender at 1.30am on Saturday, February 3, who suddenly punched him.

This caused the man to fall over and hit his head on the floor, which knocked him unconscious.

The suspect, who was walking with two other men, is then reported to have picked up the victim’s phone before he smashed it onto the floor. He then left the area.

An associate of the suspect put the victim in the recovery position before he also left and followed the offender in the same direction.

Following the incident the victim was taken to a hospital as a precaution. He was later discharged.

The suspect is described as white, around five feet 10 inches tall, of slim build, with mousy blonde hair.
