Police appeal after classic Lambretta motorbike reported stolen from Broad Lane, Wilmington

A bright and classic motorbike was allegedly stolen from inside a garage.

Officers are appealing for information after the £4,000 bike was reported stolen from Broad Lane, Wilmington.

It is believed the turquoise Lambretta L150 went missing between 3pm on February 2 and 12.30am on February 3.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police said: "The bike was made in 1959 and is quite distinctive."

Witnesses to the incident or anyone who has seen the vehicle since it was reported as stolen is asked to contact PC Sarah Lambert at Kent Police by calling 01474 366552 and quoting crime reference XY/4098/15.
