Driver taken to hospital after car crashes into barrier in Lunsford Lane, Larkfield

A driver has been taken to hospital after a car smashed into a barrier in Larkfield.

Police, paramedics and crews in two fire engines were all called to the scene in Lunsford Lane just before 10.30am following the crash, which just involved the one vehicle.

The driver was handed into the care of ambulance crews and taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be serious.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "Ambulance crews attended the scene following reports of a person in need of medical attention following a single vehicle incident.

"The patient was assessed and treated at the scene before being taken to Maidstone Hospital for further checks."
