A young woman is claiming a dress from Missguided stained her hair extensions, worth £500, nails and handbag.

Lily Richardson, from Ditton, bought a £36 black midi dress from the online retailer and was furious to later find the dye had ruined the items.

Miss Richardson is urging people on social media not to buy the mesh dress.

The ends of her £500 blonde Beauty Works hair extensions have turned grey due to the dye.

She says she has tried to wash it out several times but it hasn't made any difference.

The complaints team for the company responded to the disgruntled customer's complaint on Saturday, informing her they would be in touch within 48 hours.

She still hasn't heard from them.

Her mother Emma also took to Twitter to lodge a complaint.
