Lloyd Blackman's first-half goal at Boreham Wood extended Maidstone United's incredible run of away form in Ryman League Premier Division.

The summer-arrival notched the only goal of the game in the 29th minute to extend the Stone's run to eight consecutive wins on the road, stretching back to last season.

It was the former Folkestone Invicta man's third goal in four games - including the winner in the Kent derby against Ramsgate last Tuesday.

Infront of just 137 fans in north London the Stones consolidated fourth spot in the table with 16 points from their eight games.

They are five points behind early leaders Dover Athletic before this weekend's break from league action for the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round.
