Two goals in the last 11 minutes denied a battling 10-man Charlton against Millwall on Good Friday.

Charlton were reduced to 10 men after just 28 minutes when Chris Solly was sent off after he was adjudged to have kept out a goal-bound effort with his hand on the line.

Referee Mick Russell awarded Millwall a penalty, but Addicks keeper Stephen Henderson saved Lee Gregory's effort.

Former Liverpool and West Ham player Alou Diarra put Charlton in front after 67 minutes, slotting home from Morgan Fox's cross.

But they couldn't hang on and Magaye Gueye equalised on 79 minutes with a fine low drive, before he turned provider to set up the winner in the 89th minute for defender Jos Hooiveld.

The result leaves Charlton 11th in the Championship.
