AFC Wimbledon v Maidstone

LLOYD HUME straight-batted criticism from Stones chairman Paul Bowden Brown following Saturday's loss to Billericay.

In his programme notes for Tuesday's game with Canvey, Bowden Brown said: "We are now in the position that the management are not getting the best out of the existing squad for whatever reason.

"The three million dollar question is how long do we give these players to get it right ... for the security of this club certain harsh decisions will have to be made by the management of this club... if not I will take whatever actions are required."

Hume, the Stones' joint-manager, responded: "My only agenda is winning football matches. The chairman pays the money and is entitled to his opinion."
