Ditton resident Tom Collins (Medway & Maidstone AC) won his fourth consecutive Ditton Turkey Run on Sunday afternoon.

The remaining podium places in the 16th running of this event, from the Kiln Barn Road Community Centre, went to M40 Simon Hesketh (Larkfield AC) and Simon Parrin of Istead & Ifield Harriers.

Graham Clarkson (fourth) of Maidstone Harriers and Bob Fursey (eighth) of Medway & Maidstone were the next best M40 masters and Andy Fletcher (22nd) of Paddock Wood won the M50 award.

The closest finish of the day came in the battle for M60 honours, won by Peter Burton (48th) from Lionel Stielow (49th) of Paddock Wood, with both athletes given the same time.

Promoting club Maidstone Harriers took the team honours and Annabelle Stearns (W35, Gravesend Road Runners) was a clear winner in the women’s race.
