Frannie Collin wants to go way beyond 100 appearances for Maidstone by signing a new contract.

Collin’s two-year deal is up in the summer but the club have an option to extend and he has no plans leave.

The striker played his 100th Stones game against Margate at the end of last month, with the milestone marked by a presentation on Easter Monday.

Collin said: “I didn’t know I was anywhere near 100 appearances. Lee Worgan got there a month or so ago but keepers tend to play every game and he hasn’t had any injuries.

“I don’t know how many starts I’ve made but I’m on 55 goals which I’m chuffed with.As a striker, if you score one in two, you’re doing what you get paid for.

"I signed for two years and the club have the option on another year.

"I’m certainly not looking to go anywhere else but it’s the club decision.

“There’s only three or four players with deals for next season, so there’s a lot of people to talk to but the main thing at the moment is getting the league won.”
