Fire crews led woman to safety from bungalow fire in College Avenue, Maidstone

A woman was led to safety after a deliberate fire at a bungalow.

Crews were called to the back bedroom of a home in College Avenue, Maidstone after just after 8.30pm last night.

She was handed over to ambulance crews and the fire was put out with a hose reel jet.

The cause was given as deliberate ignition.

Kent Police have been approached for comment.
