Kent Highways advises drivers to approach Boxley Road, near the junction with James Street, with caution

A suspected water leak in Boxley Road, near the junction with James Street, could cause minor delays for drivers in the area.

Kent Highways put out a warning to road users and South East Water say they were first informed of the problem at midday.

Until is fixed motorists are advised to approach the road with caution.

A south East Water spokesman said:

"The Company is in the process of investigating to ascertain whether the water within the road is from a water main.

"If a repair is required then it will be undertaken as soon as possible.

"Once the initial investigation has been carried out we will be able to provide further information."
