Uddin in frame for police probe

Labour peer Baroness Uddin may be questioned by police as part of their investigation into politicians' expenses claims.

Police have launched a criminal inquiry into an alleged misuse of expenses by a handful of MPs and peers.

Baroness Uddin is alleged to have claimed £100,000 on a second home allowance on an empty flat.

But neighbours said the flat has been unoccupied for years.

According to the Daily Telegraph, more than 50 MPs are thought to have profited from questionable claims.
