Two killed as car crashes into tree

KENT Police's serious collision investigation unit is appealing for information after a car crash in which two men died.

The collision happened about 12.35am on Monday in Sutton Road, Langley, near Maidstone, when a black Mitsubishi car left the road and careered into a tree.

The driver and one passenger from the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene and two other male passengers were taken to Maidstone Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

The two men who died were in their 40s and from the Maidstone area. They have not yet been named. The crash happened near the Plough public house.
