Two people are facing charges over a knifepoint robbery at a cashpoint in Bearsted.

The charges come after a couple were robbed at the NatWest cash machine on Thursday, September 9.

Andrew Danny Logan, 30, of Fairway Close, Rochester, and Gemma Marie Willson, 22, of Canterbury Street, Gillingham, appeared at Maidstone Magistrates on Saturday September 11.

Both are charged with possession of a bladed article, and Logan is additionally charged with robbery.

They will appear again at Maidstone Magistrates Court on Wednesday September 29.
