Two men who were arrested in connection with a brawl at a boxing match have been charged.

Punches and chairs were thrown by members of the audience at the event in March.

It was run by the Maidstone Gurkha Boxing Club at the New Line Learning Academy in Boughton Lane, Loose.

Noah Rye Sr., 43, and Noah Rye Jr., 20, both of Church Field, Snodland, were arrested days after the fight.

They have now both been charged with affray and bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on July 3.
