Maidstone: Travellers set up camp at Midley Close Play Area in Allington

Travellers have set up camp at a play area in Maidstone.

At least three caravans have moved onto Midley Close in Allington.

One resident said it had made it a "no-go area" for families wanting to use the park.

Kent Online has contacted Maidstone Borough Council, which is responsible for the recreation area, for comment.

It is not yet known if enforcement action has been taken to remove them.
