Tonbridge Angels have confirmed League 1 side Brentford will visit Longmead in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 7 as part of the deal that took Leon Legge to Griffin Park.

He won a regular first team place with the west London club, and has earned an improved contract offer for next season. Two other games have also been arranged, against Eastbourne Borough (July 24) and Dartford (August 7).

Boss Tommy Warrilow (pictured) has started talks with players he wants to bring to the club.

He said: "I have spoken to five or six players this week, hoping to have done enough to entice them. I am looking to get decisions in the next couple of weeks.

"Ideally I would be looking at working with a squad of 14, using youngsters to fill the bench, and perhaps adding one or two more as the season goes on."
