Tonbridge Angels boss Tommy Warrilow is confident his side can rediscover their form and upset high-flying Welling in the FA Trophy third qualifying round on Saturday.

Last week's 3-1 loss at AFC Hornchurch was Angels’ third game without a win in the Ryman League, Premier Division and they crashed out of the Championship Manager Cup on penalties at Thamesmead on Tuesday night.

Warrilow, pictured, said: "We played well and created so many chances but just couldn’t take them. It was embarrassing.

"We don’t want to get back into the habit of letting teams off the hook. We should have won comfortably."

He added: "Our priority is to get promoted but I also want to do well in all the competitions - I’d love to give the fans a cup final.

"If we can play as we know we can and convert our chances, we have a good chance. Welling have been in good form, but have lost a couple recently."

Midfielder Lewis Taylor is Warrilow’s only absentee with a hamstring injury.
