Tonbridge Angels manager Tommy Warrilow has warned his players to start producing some consistency or face losing their place at the club.
Warrilow took advantage of a free weekend last Saturday to scout for potential new faces after watching his side put in a poor display in a 2-0 defeat to Salisbury City the week before.
The defeat came on the back of a good performance in a 1-1 draw against Welling United, leaving Warrilow baffled by his side’s inconsistent start to life in Blue Square Bet South.
He said: "We are still looking and if we can get some bodies in, we will.
"We have had a week off and I have been looking around. I’m not willing to let them rest on their laurels because we are at the halfway point of the season and it’s important we learn from the first half and not let the same mistakes happen again.
"The next six games are big for us. We are going to have to get our heads down and work hard because they are winnable."
The Angels go into Saturday's visit of Havant & Waterlooville wthout defender Jon Heath who is struggling with a hamstring strain, while striker Jon Main remains a couple of weeks away from a playing return.
