Tommy Warrilow has signed a new two-year contract extension which will keep him at Tonbridge until season 2013-14.

The club’s board have rewarded him for taking the club to their highest ever level, following promotion to Blue Square Bet South last season.

They have also given him the go-ahead to sign Dover defender Ollie Schulz and agree extended deals for defender Sonny Miles and frontman Nathan Koranteng.

However, Tonbridge have suffered a blow with the news that striker Jon Main will be out for the rest of the season after damaging medial knee ligaments against Dartford last week.

He had only just returned to the squad after being out since September with another serious knee injury.

Warrilow put pen to paper on the new contract after the game, having completed Schulz’s signing hours earlier.

He said: "I had no hesitation in signing. I am happy here and excited about what we are doing.

"It has given me a little bit of stability and allows me to plan well ahead, rather than one season at a time."

Midfielder Lee Browning picked up a dead-leg and could be doubtful for the home game against Maidenhead on Saturday.

They travel to Staines on Tuesday (7.45pm).
