Tonbridge boss Tommy Warrilow has signed three new players in a bid to get the club’s stuttering start to the season back on track.

Midfielder Jamie England, defender Ben Judge and striker Claude Seanla will all make their debuts in tomorrow’s (Saturday) Ryman League, Premier Division home game against AFC Hornchurch.

Warrilow is chasing one other target but has been unable to agree terms with former Gillingham midfielder Alan Pouton.

He said: "I have given the boys a fair crack and it just hasn’t happened for us. I hope these three will help us push on and compete for 90 minutes rather than 45 or 60.

"I have watched our games on DVD and 10 of the 17 goals we have conceded so far have been giveaways and down to ridiculous schoolboy errors."

England has been training at former club Chelmsford, Judge has joined from Croydon Athletic, while Ivory Coast-born Seanla, had a spell at Longmead last season, before moving on to Ashford and Horsham and then Boreham Wood, scoring 19 goals, including one against the Angels.

Warrilow said: "He was a real handful and I hope he brings the same attributes to us."

Unsettled midfielder Jacob Mingle has joined Staines, while the club will retain Liam Harwood’s registration, despite the defender being unavailable due to work commitments.

Lee Browning, Scott Kinch and John Heath were due to train last night (Thursday).
