A teenage girl was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Yalding High Street.
The air ambulance was called but the 16-year-old was treated at the scene and taken to King's College Hospital by road.
She suffered injuries to her head and leg.
The accident happened at 4.48pm on Monday and police were also called but no one was arrested.
A police spokesman said: "These injuries were not believed to be life-threatening. The vehicle involved stopped after the incident. No arrests have been made."
