Reports flasher exposed himself to teenagers in woodland in Maidstone near Sutton Road

Police are searching for a man who is reported to have flashed two teenagers.

Detectives are appealing for information after an allegation of indecent exposure in Maidstone.

During an afternoon in the middle of June, a teenage girl and a boy were walking along a footpath when they encountered a man who is reported to have exposed himself and committed an indecent act in front of them.

It happened in a wooded area between Sutton Road and Latter Road.

The man was described as having brown skin and being aged between 20 and 40.

He had a muscular build, was around 6ft and was wearing blue jeans.

The offence was reported to police on June, 30

Detective Sergeant Matt Avery, of the West Kent Vulnerability Investigation Team, said: “We are working to establish the full circumstances and are appealing to anybody who may have seen anything suspicious, or a man of this description to contact us.

“We are also urging residents and businesses in nearby areas, with private CCTV and doorbell cameras, and drivers with dashcam to check for any footage which may assist the investigation.”
