Stuck dog rescued

A dog that got its head stuck in railings near Cranbrook has been cut free by firefighters.

Kaiser, an eight-month-old alsatian, got stuck while walking in Angley Wood at about 7am this morning.

Crew manager Tony Briley and his colleagues from Cranbrook Fire Station used hydraulic equipment to cut through the railings.

He said: "He wasn't stressed at all, he was just sat down at the bottom of an embankment and was very calm."

Kaiser was freed at about 8.40am.
