Missing Alex Hayward last seen driving away from his Maidstone home towards Medway on Monday has been found safe and well following Kent Police appeal

A man who was reported missing from his home since Monday has been found safe and well following a police appeal.

Alex Hayward was reportedly last seen driving a red Range Rover registration W853 UAK in the direction of Medway.

His wife Donna today appealed for help finding her husband on Facebook and he has been found following her plea for assistance.

A Kent Police spokesman confirmed that Mr Hayward is missing and said an appeal had been launched and that officers were growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Members of the public were asked to call 101 if they knew anything about the whereabouts of Mr Hayward and were told he was thought to be driving a W registration Range Rover with blacked out windows.

The 42-year-old has now been found safe and well.
